CULTURE WEEK
|
Culture Week is a week full presentations and performances related to the language classes at Moanalua. It allows not just the language students to experience more about their target language but the cultures tied to it. The week also empowers students throughout the school, both language and non-langauge ones, with knowledge of the various cultures the world has to offer. For example, Spanish students would learn how to salsa by a dancer to learn more and immerse themselves into the culture.

SPEECH FESTIVAL
Speech Festival was one day where language students from all levels, at Moanalua High School and many other schools, got to perform their language prowess for a group of their peers and adult judges from the community. People are immersed in language and culture while creating fun memeries. It has left a lasting impact on the community, especially in language students, and led to the start of the WLLC's new World Language Festival.
